Spark first caught my attention when looking for a suitable ET joining sire for the Pine Hill Maritana A619 donor. His figures complimented hers beautifully offering top 1% growth on all weight traits and milk, their carcase figures combined to put the mid parent EBV's for all four indexes in the top 1%.
Upon seeing his progeny in the flesh at Wirruna the decision was made, cosmetically they were strong and they displayed all the attributes their EBV's suggested - weight gain, softness, carcase and fertility. Few bulls offer such exceptional growth with a moderate birth weight and positive calving ease, add in the milk, carcase and fertility to the plate he is close to the complete package.
We were successful in implanting three male and two female pregnancys to the Spark x A619 joining and we eagerly await their arrival in Spring 2015...stay tuned for updates!
